Scope

These Terms of Use govern the use of the "Checo" app and the associated services offered by ZAFE GmbH. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Content and Costs

Free content: The app offers free content that can be used at no additional cost. Access to this content is available to all users.

Paid content: Some content or features may be subject to a charge. The purchase or subscription of such content is governed by separate payment terms set out within Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store. The use of paid content is subject to the terms of the respective store.

The app offers an optional, automatically renewing subscription (monthly or annual) that extends the range of features. Payment is charged to the account of the respective store upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews at the displayed price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Management and cancellation are possible at any time in the account settings of the respective store.

Registration and Guest Use

Registration: You can register with a valid email address and create an account in order to use the app in full.

Guest use: You can also use the app as a guest without registering. In this case, however, not all features may be available to you.

Camera Access

The app may require access to your device's camera for certain features. The corresponding permission is requested before access takes place.

Data Exchange and Sharing

List sharing: The app allows users to share shopping lists and associated data with other users. By using this feature, you agree that the shared data may be viewed and used by other users.

Unlawful content: You are obliged not to send any unlawful or offensive messages or content via the app. ZAFE GmbH reserves the right to take appropriate measures in the event of a breach of this provision, including blocking access to the app.

Warranty and Availability

Functionality guarantee: ZAFE GmbH endeavours to provide the app and the features offered in good condition and free of errors. However, no warranty is given for the constant availability, freedom from errors or unrestricted functionality of the app.

No entitlement to use: You have no entitlement to unrestricted use of the app. ZAFE GmbH reserves the right to modify, extend or discontinue the app at any time.

Limitation of Liability

ZAFE GmbH is only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded. Liability for lost profits, data loss or consequential damage is likewise excluded.

Changes to the Terms of Use

ZAFE GmbH reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. Updated Terms of Use will be announced via the app. It is your responsibility to review and accept the Terms of Use regularly.

Place of jurisdiction and applicable law: Austrian law applies to disputes arising in connection with these Terms of Use. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of ZAFE GmbH in Austria.
